Many patients of DR. ELAF Dental Clinic live abroad — in Europe, Turkey or the Gulf — and visit Erbil for family holidays. Good planning lets you finish more in fewer days.

Before you travel

  1. Send clear photos of your smile and any X-rays on WhatsApp from the contact page.
  2. List your medicines and any medical conditions.
  3. Book your first appointment for the day after you arrive, not the last days of your trip.

How long treatments usually take

  • Whitening and cleaning: one visit.
  • Fillings: often several teeth in one or two visits.
  • Root canal: one or two visits — see root canal treatment.
  • Veneers and crowns: about one to two weeks for the lab work and fitting.
  • Implants: two stays — placement, then the crown after healing (usually a few months).
  • Braces: regular check-ups for many months; plan this only if you can return often or continue with a local orthodontist.

Communication

Dr. Elaf explains treatment in Arabic, Kurdish and English, and this website is also available in Turkish, German and Chinese. You get a written plan so your dentist at home can see what was done.

Try before you come

Use the Smile Lab to see whitening, braces or veneers on your own photo, then send your booking request — the result can be attached for the doctor.
