Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
DR. ELAF Dental Clinic (“the clinic”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the website collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Appointment requests: your name, phone number, chosen service, preferred day and time, and anything you choose to write about your case or in the notes.
- Account (optional): your name, email, phone number, language and notification preferences. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture from Google.
- Messages and reviews: what you send through the contact form, notes to the clinic and reviews you write.
- Visit statistics: pages visited, the referring website and device type. We do not store your IP address; visits are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day. We also use Google Analytics to understand, in general terms, how many people visit and how the website is used; we do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To arrange, confirm and manage your appointments.
- To reply to your messages and show your requests in your account.
- To manage member offers when the clinic runs them.
- To keep the website secure and understand, in general terms, how it is used.
Health information
The booking form lets you describe your case briefly. Please share only what helps us prepare for your visit. The website does not store diagnoses or medical records, and only authorised clinic staff can see your requests.
Who can see your information
Only authorised clinic staff, each with the access their role needs. We do not sell your information. Google provides sign-in, reviews and maps; when you use those features, Google’s privacy policy also applies.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms, and a cookie that remembers your language. They are necessary for the website to work. Google Analytics also sets its own cookies (starting with _ga) to measure visits; Google’s privacy policy applies to them. You can delete or block them in your browser settings without affecting booking.
How long we keep it
Appointment records are kept for up to 24 months after the appointment date unless the clinic must keep them longer for treatment or legal reasons. Visit statistics are kept for about 13 months. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
From your account you can update your details, download a copy of your data and request deletion. You can also contact the clinic by phone or WhatsApp.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, protected admin access and logs of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
